Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the Complete Construction platform ("Platform", "Service"), including our website, mobile application, AI floor plan generator, house plan store, and contractor management tools, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including homeowners, registered contractors, administrators, and any other parties who access the Service.

Complete Construction provides the following services:

a) AI House Plan Generation — An artificial intelligence tool that generates residential and commercial floor plans, 3D renders, and elevation drawings based on user-supplied specifications.

b) House Plan Store — A marketplace where users may browse, purchase, and download pre-designed architectural plans.

c) Contractor Directory — A searchable directory of registered building contractors operating in South Africa.

d) Contractor Management Suite — Tools for building contractors including project management, invoice generation, change orders, progress tracking, procurement management, and client communication.

e) Cost Estimation — Indicative material cost estimates based on publicly available pricing data from South African hardware retailers.

f) SANS 10400 Compliance Reports — AI-assisted preliminary compliance checklists referencing South African National Building Regulations.

3.1 AI floor plans, 3D renders, elevations, and all related outputs ("AI Outputs") are generated by artificial intelligence and are indicative only. They do not constitute certified architectural or engineering drawings.

3.2 AI Outputs must not be submitted to any municipality, local authority, NHBRC, or any regulatory body without first being reviewed, certified, and stamped by a registered professional — including a qualified architect registered with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession) or a registered professional engineer (ECSA).

3.3 Complete Construction makes no warranty that AI Outputs are structurally sound, code-compliant, or suitable for construction. The Platform's compliance checklists are preliminary and advisory only.

3.4 Complete Construction shall not be held liable for any construction defects, regulatory non-compliance, financial loss, personal injury, or property damage arising from the use of AI Outputs.

3.5 Images generated by the AI are non-unique and may bear similarity to other generated outputs. Complete Construction does not guarantee the originality or intellectual property exclusivity of any AI Output.

4.1 All house plan purchases are processed securely via PayFast, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. By making a purchase, you also agree to PayFast's terms of service.

4.2 Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the current statutory rate unless otherwise stated.

4.3 Upon successful payment, you will receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased plan for a single construction project. You may not resell, redistribute, sub-licence, or share downloaded plans with third parties.

4.4 Refund Policy — Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final once a plan has been downloaded or accessed. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing a purchased plan, contact us at support@completebuilder.co.za within 7 days of purchase.

4.5 Subscription plans (where offered) renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

5.1 Contractors who register on the Platform represent that all information provided — including NHBRC registration numbers, qualifications, years of experience, and past project details — is accurate, current, and complete.

5.2 Complete Construction performs a basic verification of submitted credentials but does not independently guarantee the quality, safety, or regulatory compliance of any contractor's work.

5.3 Homeowners are strongly advised to independently verify contractor credentials, obtain multiple quotes, and use formal written contracts before commencing any construction work.

5.4 Complete Construction is not a party to any agreement between homeowners and contractors. We facilitate introductions only and accept no liability for the outcome of any construction project.

5.5 Complete Construction reserves the right to suspend or remove any contractor listing that violates these Terms or is found to contain false information.

6.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

6.2 You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform.

6.3 You agree not to share your account with any other person. Each account is for individual use only unless otherwise agreed in writing for corporate accounts.

6.4 Complete Construction reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or misuses the Platform.

7.1 All Platform content, including but not limited to software, design, trademarks, logos, text, and proprietary AI models, is owned by or licensed to Complete Construction and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

7.2 Users retain ownership of content they upload to the Platform (e.g. floor plan sketches, photos, project details). By uploading, you grant Complete Construction a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7.3 AI Outputs generated from your project specifications are owned by you, subject to the licence restrictions in clause 4.3.

7.4 You may not reverse engineer, copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of the Platform or its AI systems.

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Complete Construction, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

8.2 Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8.3 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.1 Complete Construction processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9.2 We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers (e.g. payment processors, email providers) solely to deliver the Service.

9.3 You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by us. Submit requests to privacy@completebuilder.co.za.

You agree not to:

a) Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation. b) Upload false, misleading, or defamatory content. c) Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure. d) Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Platform without written consent. e) Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Platform features or content without prior written authorisation. f) Impersonate any person or entity, including Complete Construction employees or registered contractors.

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be referred to mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by the courts of South Africa with jurisdiction in Gauteng.

11.3 Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

Complete Construction reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users or prominently displayed on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
